Tommy Vercetti, who served 15 years in prison instead of Sonny Forelli, is released. The Forelli family, without thinking twice, sends Tommy to Vice City, where he must complete a drug deal. However, the deal falls through due to the intervention of unknown men in black. Tommy remains alive, but loses both goods, and money, and two partners. His only acquaintance in this city is Ken Rosenberg, a mafia lawyer. Now Tommy has to return the money, otherwise he faces retribution.

Screen

Look carefully at the screen - in the lower left corner is a radar - an absolutely necessary thing in the game. All key locations are indicated on the radar: repainting with an aerosol icon, tool magazine with a hammer, weapon magazine with a pistol, various key mission locations with squares or triangles (if the target is marked with a triangle, then it is above or below your current level, depending on whether where the vertex of the triangle points). In the upper right corner there is a clock showing the time in Vice City; amount of money; a health meter (an armor meter will appear to the left of it) and the level of police interest in your humble person, the more anti-social your behavior, the more stars light up here. Even more to the right is the indicator of the weapon used (in the beginning, just an ordinary fist). Subsequently, during the passage of various missions, additional indicators will appear on the screen, but I will talk about them in the course of describing these missions.

Basic provisions.

Actually, the most basic provisions are obvious, and I will not talk about the fact that if you are shot at, then your health level decreases. Firstly, you cannot die in this game for good: after each of your deaths, you will be reborn at the nearest hospital, while all your weapons, some cash will be taken away from you, and if you were performing any mission at that moment, it will be inevitably failed; the same thing awaits you in case of arrest. Based on all this, I recommend saving and loading more often in case of failures, so as not to collect the arsenal extracted by sweat and blood again. You can only save in certain locations, marked with a cassette symbol, and you can only do this outside of missions, and this is one of the lousiest features of the game. By booting up, you restore your health and get rid of the interest from the police, which can be quite useful. Various badges are scattered throughout the city:

  • Heart - restores health to the maximum, usually found near hospitals.
  • Bulletproof Vest - Gives you a bulletproof vest that absorbs all damage inflicted on your hero.
  • Asterisk - removes one star of "interest" from the police in any case.
  • Clothes - if you have no more than two stars of "interest" of the police, then, after changing clothes, you will take them off, otherwise, you will spend money only on changing your appearance.
  • Capsule - slows down time, making it easier to aim at the enemy. It goes away with time or if you get into the car.
  • House - allows you to purchase residential real estate.
  • The skull is the so-called outbursts of rage. You need for a certain time and with the help of a certain weapon (which can be a car) to destroy a certain number of members of a gang. There are 35 such rages in total.
  • The green figurine is the so-called hidden packages. There are 100 of them in total, and for every ten you find you are given a present. More specifically, for 10 packages you will be delivered a bulletproof vest to your hotel, for 20 - a chainsaw will be delivered there, for 30 - a Colt "Python", for 40 - a flamethrower, for 50 - a 308th sniper rifle, for 60 - a minigun, for 70 - RPG-7, for 80 - in the backyard of the mansion of a certain Ricardo Diaz, which you will have to recapture in the story (the mansion, not the yard!), A Sea Sparrow helicopter will appear ("Sea Sparrow"), for 90 - at a military base a tank "Rino" ("Rhinoceros") will appear, for 100 - a helicopter "Hunter" ("Hunter") will appear at the same military base.

Now about what the number of stars on the police interest level gauge means:

  • One star - nothing too bad: the police will start chasing you if you are in their field of vision. It is enough just not to catch their eye for a while, and the star will disappear.
  • Two stars is already much worse: police cars hang tenaciously on your tail, actively ram, but just like that, the stars will not disappear anywhere.
  • Three stars - to all of the above, police car barriers on the roads are added, the deployment of hedgehogs, hitting which leads to tire punctures, and plainclothes detectives driving Cheetahs. Also, a helicopter begins to chase you, which illuminates you with a searchlight and fires from a machine gun (thank God, not very accurately!).
  • Four stars - now special forces are also added, who either drive Enforcers or parachute from helicopters.
  • Five stars is not good at all: the FBI, armed with MP-5s, are starting to hunt for you. To escape in such a situation is not very easy, but still possible.
  • Six stars - if you get to this, then you can consider yourself dead. Trucks with soldiers and "Rino" ("Rhino") tanks are leaving on the streets. Breaking out of this hell is very, very difficult, and if you manage to do it - you are either a super professional, or a fantastically lucky person, or a cheater !!!

You can get rid of the persecution of the police in the following ways: go to the repainting workshop (removes all the stars, but if you commit some kind of offense while your stars are blinking, they will be restored again), change clothes (works with no more than two stars), take " star" (removes one star of interest), save and load (if you are not on a mission), successfully complete the mission (but does not always work). Another important feature of the game is earning money: you can get it for completing any missions, unique jumps, found hidden packages, for helping the police in the pursuit of petty criminals, performing professional tasks: police, ambulance, taxi, fireman, pizza delivery man, and spend them will have to buy weapons (although you can just find them on the street) and real estate.

Passage.

You get missions from different characters, and you can often choose your own timeline, so I'll go through the missions according to whoever gives them to you.

First, get to the hotel (by the way, various clues will appear in the upper left corner) and watch the video, then return to Rosenberg's office.

A party.

Everything is elementary: first we get into the car and go towards the Rafael store that appeared on the radar, change clothes and press on the pier (a 45-caliber pistol is lying nearby), where a party is held on board a luxury yacht that has gathered all the color of Weiss City. After a long video, you will have to take the daughter of Colonel Cortez to a night dance club - this is also not a problem.

Fight in the alley.

Ken Rosenberg will say that if anyone has the information we need, it's a certain Kent Paul, who usually hangs out at the Malibu Club. Well, we take a car and go there, watch a video from which we learn about a certain "cook" from Ocean Drive, who has been very pleased with himself lately. Gotta check it out! Before driving towards the sign, make sure you have a pistol or some other firearm, and by no means go to a meeting empty-handed (fists). So, we drive up, get out of the car, approach the cook standing in a back alley and calmly shoot him (be sure to pick up a mobile phone !!!). Here a guy named Lance appears, and a dialogue takes place between him and Tommy, everything ends with Lance giving Tommy a gun, from which you should kill three "cooks", obviously dissatisfied with the death of their boss. If, after dismantling, the police are interested in you, then take the asterisk, which lies right there in the alley. Then we get to Lance's car (a gorgeous white Infernus, and where did he get one?) and we go first to the armory, and then to our hotel.

Jury wrath.

So we need to intimidate two jurors or Cousin Sonny Forelli will end up in jail. We are, of course, not yet satisfied with this arrangement. When Tommy exits Rosenberg, the car will hit an inattentive worker, who will throw off his hooves and hammer, the latter should be picked up. Next, we take the vehicle and drive to the northern juror. We drive up and see that the juror himself is absent, but his car is right there. We take a hammer and begin to change the design of this very machine. Upon reaching a certain condition of the car, its owner himself will appear, to whom Tommy will say a couple of affectionate ones. We are going to the second juror, who is calmly chatting with some woman. We lightly beat him with a hammer, he jumps into the car and tries to escape. Alas, unsuccessful! We begin the process of turning his car into scrap metal using the same hammer.

Mutiny.

Well, we come to Rosenberg again and find that he has guests - a very imposing cowboy Avery Carrington, who asks us for one favor, namely to make a big rustle on the territory of one company. To begin with, we go to Rafael and change the outfit, then we go towards the sign. At the gate we find a noisy company of workers - start a fight with three of them, after which a general dump is formed. Under the guise we penetrate the gate, put the guard, drive the trucks to the barrels filled with something flammable, retreat to a respectful distance and shoot at the barrels. bam!! Mission completed... Now we have several employers at once: Avery Carrington, Colonel Cortez and another type who will give tasks by phone (this is an assassin contract that is not directly related to the plot, it will be considered separately). But before starting to complete these missions, I recommend collecting at least 30 packages (in fact, for the time being, about as many are available to you).

On the road.

So, the first task given to Tommy by someone who thinks he is a murdered chef is to kill the pizza delivery man before he completes all the orders. You will need a fast enough car. On it, you catch up with the victim, knock it off the scooter and either push it corny or finish it off with some kind of weapon. Everything is simple.

Finish off your wife.

For this mission, it would be nice to find a strong and high-speed car (the ideal option is a police car). It is necessary to eliminate a certain Mrs. Dawson, and everything should look like an accident, that is, you cannot shoot. Drive up to the jewelry store where your potential victim is shopping (no wonder Mr. Dawson decided to get rid of her), wait for her to get out and get into the car and start ramming her (the health bar of her car will appear on the right). You may have to change a couple of cars, but in general, nothing complicated.

Autocide.

Leave and return.

This time you will have to hunt at the airport. Pick up a sniper rifle, carefully left by your employers. Now get close to the woman, but keep an eye on the visibility indicator on the right side of the screen. When the woman approaches the two men, wait for her to finish talking and then kill those men. Don't touch the woman. Pick up the suitcase left from one of the men and get out of the airport building. You have two stars of police interest, but that's just not scary. Much worse are the killers riding the Admirals, dissatisfied with the death of the boss. It is unlikely that you will be able to get to the weapons store in the city center under such cruel pressure by car. Get out on your own two feet, and be sure to go through the back alleys and nooks and crannies, then you will have much less problems.

The last mission, given by phone, and very interesting. A deal is being made on the roof of an ice cream factory. You need to eliminate the guards and the participants in the transaction, pick up the goods and deliver them to the airport (they like to trade in Vice City by disrupting other people's transactions). We take a good weapon (for starters, some kind of machine gun) and set off on a crusade against especially dangerous rednecks in strict suits. First of all, we undermine the car, at the same time destroying the bastards hiding behind it, then we penetrate into the courtyard, having previously removed two types of snipers on the stairs, and direct a complete nix there: first using heavy weapons, and then combining a sniper, machine gun and, possibly, MP- 5, picked up from corpses. Then go up to the roof, simultaneously eliminating the remaining reptiles. Having climbed up, do not rush to immediately grab a suitcase - a small ambush awaits you. Throw a couple of grenades into the opening, maybe hook someone. Then climb onto the springboard and shoot the hidden enemies from above, not letting them come to their senses. Now we calmly take the goods and fly on a gangster helicopter to the airport, or rather, to the helipad at the airfield. Everything!

Avery Carrington missions.

Four Iron (Four irons).

Avery needs someone to take out one type for him. Well, let's help the man. To begin with, we go for clothes for the golf club. N-yes, well, and an outfit! Now there are two methods of solving the problem: either you honestly go to the golf club and try to straighten right person stick, or you drive the car to the fence of the club, and with its help you move inside, keeping all the weapons. The second option is much less hemorrhoids, since the target will pay attention to you only when you start to climb up to him.

Nightmare, not a mission: you need to plant four bombs in 7 minutes in a building being built on a piece of land that Avery really liked. But!! You need to do this with the help of a toy radio-controlled helicopter. This is where the worst part begins. In short, we get to the "TopFun" van, get into it and away we go. Firstly, be sure to set up controls that are convenient for you, and secondly, keep in mind that there are workers and two guards in the building who will strive to destroy the helicopter with all their might. True, you can try to knock out everyone with the blades before you take the first bomb and, accordingly, the timer starts (it is even recommended to do this), but a few people will still load. And the last note: do not start from the fourth floor - this will save you time, because you will have to go down from the fourth floor, and if you finish on the fourth floor, you will not need to go down anywhere. And be patient - you are unlikely to overcome the mission on the first try.

But we will deal with Diaz later: now Cortez asks us to steal ... just a tank, which, as part of a military convoy, moves along the main street of Vice City. When you find yourself in a tank, you will get 3 stars, but this is not scary at all, since the tank is such a beast that any car explodes on collision with it. Just make sure you don't get pulled out of the tank. If it seems to you that you are not in time for the tank to self-destruct (the time before the explosion is given as a scale on the right side of the screen), then you can shoot the tank backwards to go faster (to shoot backwards, you just need to turn the turret). If you have already completed all the missions for Diaz, then after this mission Kent Paul will call you and say that he has important information.

All hands on the car.

Cortes decided to sail his yacht to warmer climes, but he has one big problem: he is being hunted by the French, who want to get their guidance chips back. Cortez asks Tommy to help him break through the French barriers. We will not have time to sail from the shore, as respectable people in white shirts, jackets and ties will appear, who will immediately rush in boats in pursuit of the yacht. Shoot them (you can along with the boats). Then your task will be to shoot the barricade of boats near the bridge, if necessary, kill the French who have entered the deck. Then shoot down two Maverick landing helicopters (it would be more correct to say two landing helicopters here, and not two landing helicopters). In the end, shoot the attack helicopter "Hunter" ("Hunter") as well. Mission based on the Vietnam War. Diaz will send you and Lance to deal with a bandit raspberry on Shrimp Island. First, you will have to kill all ground targets from a helicopter (his health scale is on the right), and then you will be dropped off in front of the house, given an M-60 machine gun and the task: to take the money. The main thing is to control the helicopter carefully, touch the keys gently, with light short presses. This toy helicopter is more or less normally controlled only at low altitude or at high speed. When you need to pass a checkpoint located in a narrow space, you can hover over it and smoothly descend.

Racing in the stadium.

You are given "Sanchez" and with his help you must collect all the checkpoints. Everything would be simple if the developers did not make a real motorcycle trial out of this mission. You will need outstanding motorcycle control skills. Go ahead, feel like, for example, Adam Raga!

Hotring.

In general, this race is a race in the popular US racing series "Nascar". You get the car "Hotring Racer" and in the confrontation with 15 rivals, you are trying to take first place. The differences from other races in Vice City are as follows: there is no question of any honest races - the rivals ram each other and you without any shyness, and the cars are very fragile and explode very quickly. The technical condition of your car is displayed by a bar on the right side of the screen, along with information about the current position and race time. If you lose the car, then the race will end with your defeat. This rule does not apply to computer opponents - they return to the race with a new car. To save your car from destruction, you can go to the pit stop. In this case, you will probably lose a few positions, but, nevertheless, this will completely save your chances of winning the race. And most importantly: try to avoid collisions with opponents' cars, it is much better to plow the side of the car along the side than to start pushing with the computer.

Blood ring.

The most brutal race in the stadium. You are given a well-fortified car and released into the arena with the task to score, passing checkpoints, the time is greater than the specified time. In general, the race is more about luck: if you manage to get rid of the main crowd, then everything should be okie-doki. The main thing is that your task is not to shove with competitors, but to pass marks.

Dirt test.

On the coast in the center area there is a special track for the trial (you might have noticed it when you went through the mission "G-spotlight"). There you can ride the Sanchez and go through all the checkpoints. For the first time, you will have no rivals. Further, with each new track record, the race will become more difficult, but you only need to complete it once. The rest is to taste.

Test site.

As you might guess from the name, this is a race on a motorcycle "PSD-600". The motorcycle itself stands against the wall of the house opposite the turn from the street on which the Ocean View Hotel is located. You will need to pass 24 checkpoints in 2 minutes. The number of marks passed and the remaining time are shown on the screen on the right. In general, the race is not difficult, but before the last two marks you should have at least 30 seconds left.

Without brakes.

This race is located on the roof of the same multi-storey parking lot where Cortez left you weapons. On the very roof stands "Stallion" ("Stallion"). Sitting in it, you activate the test. You need to pass 5 checkpoints without DESTROYING a single cone (that is, you can touch them). The race itself begins when you pass the first mark. You can go through them in any order, each gives 11 seconds. The easiest way is to start with two marks located next to each other (on the springboard), so that later, slowly, go around the rest.

Rifle range.

After completing the mission "Shooter", you can at any time go to the shooting range located in the weapons store of the Center district (in fact, there you performed the above mission). Here you can shoot at targets. As in the Shooter mission, a close target is worth one point, a medium one is worth two, and a far one is worth three. If you score more than 30 points, you will receive $500. And if you score MORE THAN 45 points, you will not only get money, but your weapons will also start reloading faster. It is very difficult to score such a number of points, so a good mouse is vital. Rest on a distant target, simultaneously destroying the middle one at times. It is best to leave the head at the very beginning of the near one and forget about this target almost until the very end of the shooting.

Helicopter marks.

There are four "Sparrow" ("Sparrow") helicopters in Vice City (they do not appear from the very beginning of the game), sitting in which, you will have to fly through a series of checkpoints. Speed ​​is not important here - the main thing is to pass all the marks. These flights, by the way, are much easier than on a radio-controlled helicopter due to the Sparrow's high obedience to control. Helicopters are located in the following locations: in the courtyard of the house opposite the Lynx View apartment, on the roof of the house next to the repaint in the Ocean Beach area, on the roof of the house next to the package number 67 and in the Center area on the roof of the building (well, not exactly on the roof) from the mission "G-spotlight".

Taxi: Taxi missions are perhaps the easiest of all professional ones. You just need to carry a total of 100 passengers, and it is not necessary at all at a time. These missions can be recommended to complete as early as possible, as this will allow you to more or less get to know the city. It is quite convenient to carry out taxi missions on the second island, since most desired points located along the main road. The only unpleasant place in this situation is Escobar International Airport, which is very tedious to get to. Once you've delivered 100 passengers, you'll be able to jump into a taxi by pressing the horn button.

Police: There are several ways to complete police missions, for example, to hunt bandits with the help of the "Hunter" ("Hunter"). But I suggest the following way: first, get a car that can be repainted: it's either "Gepard" ("Chita") of plainclothes detectives (three stars), or a special FBI car. Moreover, the FBI "Washington" stands behind a house located next to a pizzeria in the Center area. Second, get a minigun or RPG-7 with plenty of ammo. Now we just drive across the bandits, get out of the car and shoot them with heavy weapons. When the police join us, we rush to the nearest repainting. Hunting is best done on the first island, and not far from the Lynx View apartment. And all because if you still lose a car that can be repainted, then you can do it as follows: you take an ordinary police car, when things get bad, rush to this very apartment, put a police car in the garage, take a car that standing next to the house and going to repaint, since it is under the nose. You can easily remove the stars of interest and return to the already repaired police car. After completing 12 levels of the police mission, you will receive a maximum armor of 150 units.

Ambulance: Perhaps the most difficult professional mission. I don't even know where is the best place to go. I passed on the first island, where the task is made easier by the fact that many patients are concentrated on the beach, but there are some very unpleasant places there. The ambulance can only fit three patients, so you will often have to go back to the hospital to unload people. For each selected patient, you add time, but unlike a police mission, the time is set anew with the start of a new level, so you will not be able to relax. In addition, you will have to drive the car very carefully, since it cannot be repaired, and besides, the risk of inadvertently crushing the patient is very high. You have to go through 12 levels of this hell, but the reward is worth it - you will be able to sprint and not get tired at the same time. This will solve a lot of problems with the police.

Fire engine: The only fire station I found in the city was located in the Center area. I also served as a firefighter there. In general, this is not difficult, the main thing is to be guided by whether you hit burning targets with water or not. This is easy to do: if you water a burning target, you can observe small puffs of steam above it. Another little tip: first put out all the cars, and only then catch up and put out the people who jumped out of them. The reward for completing the twelve levels of the fire mission will be absolute resistance to fire (although you will still die in exploding cars).

Pizza delivery man: Pizza delivery missions are not very difficult: you need to go through 10 levels, each level has a fixed 5 minutes, The scooter holds 6 pizzas. To throw away the pizza, you need to drive up to the customer, look in his direction and press "fire". Try to throw pizzas as accurately as possible, if the person did not pick up the pizza you threw, then you can use the scooter to push it in the right direction. After completing the pizza delivery missions, you will get a maximum health of 150 units.

100% completion of the game.

Accelerate and press the key responsible for braking the aircraft. At the same time, Tommy will try to raise the motorcycle on its hind legs. Keep the balance by pressing the same key. The second is the stop bonus. Having dispersed the motorcycle, simultaneously press the keys for accelerating the aircraft, as well as those responsible for the manual and conventional brakes of the car / motorcycle. In this case, Tommy will transfer his weight to the front of the motorcycle and for some time the latter will slide on the front wheel. The best motorcycles to perform such stunts are Sanchez and PSD-600, and the best place is the airport runways.


3. Sometimes on the street you can observe the following picture - a cop is chasing a bandit running away from him. If you catch up with this bandit and hit him lightly, then you will receive $ 50, as a respectable citizen. In this case, the main thing is not to overdo it, because if you inadvertently hit the pursued to death, then you yourself will become the next target of the policeman. Especially often such chases can be observed in the area of ​​the Northern Department Store at night.


4. If you have less than 100 health units, then it can be replenished with not quite standard methods. The first of these is to have a snack in a cafe or pizzeria, where, in case of your health problems, the corresponding pink markers appear. The second way is to use the services of local "priestesses of love". To do this, find yourself a good, prestigious car, then slow down near a representative of the oldest profession (you can recognize them by their respective outfits), wait until she sits down next to you and drive into some wild wilderness, away from people and cars. Having found a suitable place, stop and watch how your health slowly creeps up and money goes away.


5. Greetings from GTA-3. In the place where you completed the mission "Autogeddon", there is a row of garages at the far end of the site. In one of them there is a workshop of the Eight-Charge, where you can mine any brought car. This action has no special practical prospects, but if you wish, you can indulge in playing a real Italian mafia.


6. If you shoot from a sniper rifle at the moon, then it will change size.


7. You can shoot seagulls from a sniper rifle. The number of birds killed will be displayed in the statistics. Just do not confuse seagulls with black "do not understand what", often flickering in the air. Seagulls look exactly like birds and fly relatively slowly.

9. In the course of obtaining various non-residential properties and completing some optional missions, various small gizmos appear in the Vercetti mansion and in his room at the Ocean View Hotel. So, at the end of the missions of the film studio in the main office of the mansion, you can find a poster with Candy Sachs and photos from the shooting (viewed with a sniper rifle). A couple of posters also appear in the hotel. In a small room to the right of the entrance, on the TV, you can find cups for winning matches in the stadium. So, if you approach this house from the side of a small alley between this and the next house and climb the right stairs, then instead of a door, you will find an absolutely black rectangle. This is the entrance to the secret apartment. Inside, you can find a chainsaw and a blood-stained bathroom. They say that this is an allusion to the movie "Scarface".


12. And finally, the main Easter egg of all times and peoples! There is a local news studio building (VCN) in the Center area. A hammer: Not much more effective than a screwdriver, but it is more convenient to use, and besides, you can use a hammer to hammer cars.

Butcher knife: It looks very intimidating, but the efficiency is at a very low level. The power is almost inferior to a screwdriver and a hammer. In short, not recommended.

Baseball bat: The first truly serious weapon from the "cold" section. People are beaten dearly. Chainsaw: Weapons for real maniacs. It shreds people in a split second, while liters of blood pours onto the screen. The only downside to the chainsaw is that Tommy can't run with it. Definitely recommended for Doom fans.

Pistols.

Pistol 45 caliber: The first firearm in the game. Reliable and efficient. Almost any enemy has enough from 3 to 5 rounds with 17 in the clip. In addition, it has a good rate of fire.

Colt "Python": Brings down a person with one shot to any point of the body, which is good. But at the same time, it shoots very slowly. Hence the conclusion: for shooting small groups of a weakly armed enemy or for shooting drivers through glass, it fits almost perfectly.

Submachine guns.

Tek-9: A very weak submachine gun, but, nevertheless, the rate of fire is quite on the level. You shouldn't count on him.

Ultrasound: This weapon is even more powerful than the Mac. But at the same time, the UZI, unlike the "Tek-9" and "Mac", does not allow you to shoot on the go. However, this trick is used infrequently, so ultrasound can be recommended as a priority weapon.

MP-5: Definitely the best of all submachine guns. Easily endures people, a little less cool - cars. The FBI is armed with it, and that means something.

Shotguns.

Shotgun: A typical shotgun from any 3D shooter. Like any shotgun, it shoots slowly, is effective at short distances, heavy, but at short distances it kills the first time. But the car requires at least four shots.

Trim: Further development of the shotgun idea - more lethal (almost twice) at a greater distance and just as heavy. But it shoots slower, as Tommy constantly reloads it manually.

SPAS-12: A chic shotgun that takes out people with one shot from a very decent distance for a shotgun. 2-3 shots are enough for cars. In addition, it does not need to be reloaded after each shot. Definitely recommended.

Sniper rifles.

PSG-1(.308 Sniper): The shot of this rifle is slightly stronger, the rate of fire is slightly lower. In addition, it is equipped with a laser sight. But this sight hinders more than it helps. In general, a simple sniper looks a bit preferable.

Automata.

Ruger (Kruger): In terms of combat characteristics, it is very similar to the MP-5, but allows firing from the first person. Sometimes it helps.

M-4: Magnificent machine. People are blown away with just a few rounds, and thanks to the high rate of fire and the large number of rounds in the horn, it works great on cars too. In short, a must buy!

Explosives.

Grenades: Ordinary grenades. Throw distance depends on how long the button is pressed. A very good support weapon.

Minigun: … the best weapon in the game is the minigun. The rate of fire and power are simply amazing: in a matter of seconds, it destroys heaps of people and cars and can shoot down helicopters (although you will have to spend about 400 rounds for this). Minus two: as heavy as the RPG-7, and ammo runs out very quickly. However, it is recommended for everyone to have (the last mission of the game with the minigun turns into a jaunt).

Rampage missions (in translation: "fury", "violence") were in the early versions of GTA. AT vice city they have not changed significantly. There are 35 icons scattered around the city (see picture), which you pick up to start the Rampage mission. The purpose of the mission: to kill a certain number of representatives of any criminal group in time. There are only four types of such missions:

1 . Kill the specified number of people with the given weapon
2 . Destroy the specified number of vehicles from the issued weapon
3 . Kill the specified number of people with the given weapon while shooting from the vehicle
4 . Move to the vehicle the specified number of people.

A pleasant moment in the mission is that you have an endless number of cartridges, but it is upsetting that you can’t pick up anything from the dead (neither cartridges for other weapons, nor money). In fact, these missions would probably be the hardest in the game. But, as they say, there would be no happiness, but misfortune helped. Their passage is not difficult if you take advantage of one of the biggest drawbacks of the game engine - the disappearance (and appearance) of objects behind you. II. Police mission. Here you need to face an interesting way to deal with criminals, namely to kill them. The rules are identical to the ambulance, only now we kill and not save (with each new level, one more criminal). The easiest way is to pass on the police car (Cheetan) which is located behind the police station in the Little Havana area, or if you have collected all the hidden packages, then at the military base you will find a helicopter on which this mission will not be very difficult (I note that if you choose the second way, you must be dressed in a police uniform, otherwise the military who are there will start shooting at you).

* As a reward, you get 50 additional armor points (that is, your armor will equal the sum of 150 points).
III. Fire mission. All the same rules 12 levels. Find the fire truck and get into it. We need to find a burning car and put it out (later with a level up and people running out after the car is safe). To put out cars and passers-by you need to press the shoot button (mostly the left mouse button).
* Just be careful with your speed, so as not to crush the pedestrian running in the fire.

IV. taxi mission. Everything is simple here. You need to take 100 passengers to the places they indicate.
