But one day a whirlwind of incredible events bursts into their old house in the center of Moscow.
First, by chance, a window repairman, summoned by the aunts for the occasion, dies from an unknown source of arsenic in the pie. Then the old women’s nephews appear on the threshold of the house - suspicious and careless individuals. Failed producer Robert and prison escapee Eric add to the confusion. And then there’s this sneaky official trying to evict the old women from their mansion on the outskirts of the capital. At the same time, the official finds support from his unlucky nephews. As is customary in a sitcom, the plot develops rapidly, one scene quickly follows another, holding the viewer's attention throughout the entire action. The comedy “Reluctant Adventurers” really turned out to be mischievous, funny, moderately frivolous, with a sea of jokes and comical situations. The laughter at the performance does not stop for a minute.

The actors of the play “Reluctant Adventurers” create on stage the enchanting atmosphere of a classic sitcom. The main roles are played by popular and talented actors. The role of the optimist Rosa Krause is played by People's Artist of Russia Raisa Ryazanova, the legendary star of the Oscar-winning film “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears.” Thanks to Alexander Mokhov, Ryazanova entered the theater stage after a many-year break.
