While working on his uncle's farm, Luke dreamed of becoming a pilot and desperately sought to enter the Academy, where his friend Biggs Darklighter was already studying. But Luke's uncle, Owen Lars, constantly held him back from the farm.

"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."

This is how every film in George Lucas' legendary science-fiction epic Star Wars begins. The Jedi knight Luke Skywalker will be brought to the center of the events of the space opera, where the forces of light enter into the fight against the dark ones. The young man was destined to play one of the main roles in the victory of the Rebellion and the revival of the Jedi Order.

History of creation

The American director conceived the space opera, which eventually turned into eight films, back in the mid-1970s. Inspiration for literary work inspired by Akira Kurosawa's "The Hidden Fortress". The Japanese film became the basis for the creation storylines, as well as concepts for the images of the main characters of Star Wars. According to Lucas, even in his work he was inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune.

The story of A New Hope, told through the adventures of a cast of heroes, has become a phenomenon popular culture: Science fiction fans, in addition to the main artistic productions, received animated series and cartoons, book publications, including comics magazines. Gamers bought video games, and children bought toys in the form of characters invented by Lucas.

The original Star Wars trilogy includes:

  • "Star wars. Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
  • "Star wars. The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
  • "Star wars. Return of the Jedi (1983)

At the end of the millennium, a prequel trilogy was released:

  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)
  • "Star wars. Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (premiere scheduled for late 2017)
  • Star Wars: Episode IX (expected 2019)

The films that have already been released have one thing in common - they are all nominated for an Oscar, but so far only the first two films have received the coveted statuette.

Plot

The plot of Star Wars is based on events in a distant galaxy inhabited by motley creatures, where everything is subject to the confrontation between light and dark forces. The inhabitants of the fictional universe are served by robotic droids who help in everyday affairs. Traveling in space between planets is par for the course for the inhabitants of the galaxy.

A detail of a spiritual and mystical nature is the so-called Force - an energy field that is created by living beings and permeates everything around, connecting it into a single whole.

But not everyone has a strong connection with the Force from birth. Those who are lucky have unusual abilities, for example, they have telekinesis, can control the mind, and predict the future. Such lucky people are divided into two groups: the Jedi (who stand on the light side of the Force) and the Sith (antagonists).

One of the main goodies fantasy of George Lucas, Luke Skywalker joined the ranks of the Jedi, playing a key role in the Galactic civil war, victory over the Galactic Empire and the overthrow of the Sith.

Biography of Luke Skywalker

Luke was born along with his twin sister Leia in medical center asteroid Posis Massa during the time when the Old Republic disappeared and the Empire was formed, and the Jedi were destroyed. The mother died immediately after giving birth. Luke Skywalker's father Anakin, known as the Sith Lord, switched to the side of evil shortly before the events. Family friends Jedi Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi decided to separate the children and hide them from their enemies.

Luke grew up under the tutelage of his uncle and aunt on the desert planet Tatooine, dreaming since childhood of leaving his native land to drive a spaceship. For the time being, the boy had no idea about his origin and purpose.

Life changed dramatically when two droids R2-D2 and C-3PO with drawings of the Empire's secret weapon called the Death Stars found themselves in the hands of their uncle. Imperial stormtroopers, in search of documents, ended up on Tatooine and killed the young man’s relatives. Luke went on a dangerous journey to the rebels to give them the blueprints for a superweapon.

On this dangerous journey, young Skywalker, under the guidance of Kenobi and Master Yoda, learned the basics of using the Force, met members of the Rebellion and his sister Princess Leia Organa. And Obi-Wan Kenobi contributed to the young man joining the ranks of the rebels.

Finding himself a member of the Rebel Alliance, the hero, along with Leia and Solo, fought against the oppressive regime and participated in several battles with the forces of the Empire, led by Darth Vader. The Sith Lord had been hunting Skywalker for a long time. As a result, the son fell into a trap set in Cloud City, where a duel took place between Luke and Vader. During a lightsaber battle, Darth left his son without an arm and revealed to him the secret of birth.

The fatal battle occurred when Vader brought Luke before Emperor Palpatine. Together they tried to convince the young Jedi to turn to the dark side of the Force. However, Skywalker managed to defeat his father and even awaken in him bright feelings. In the battle, the young man refused to carry out the Emperor's order to kill Vader. The Dark Knight threw the ruler of the Empire into a mine and died from a mortal wound, but not before accepting redemption and becoming Anakin Skywalker again.

After the victory of the Rebellion, Luke built a new temple and Jedi academy, intending to revive the Order of those who stand on the light side of the Force, almost destroyed by Palpatine. But after the betrayal of his nephew and student Ben Solo, who chose the camp of the dark side and destroyed the entire academy, the hero went into self-imposed exile.

In the coming episodes, Luke Skywalker will once again take center stage. According to preliminary comments from the creators of the films, the character's character will strengthen and become tougher.

Luke fell in love with a member of the opposing side, Mara Jade, who later became Skywalker's comrade-in-arms and then his wife and bore him a son, Ben. After her marriage, Mara dedicated her life to the New Jedi Order.

Image, powers and abilities

A short young man (Luke grew to only 172 cm) with early childhood was distinguished by irrepressible daydreaming and having his head in the clouds. Over the years, this has been compounded by recklessness, impatience and impulsiveness. The young man did not know how to lie at all. Over time, I learned patience and restraint, and wisdom came. Those around him noted that he was smart beyond his age. Skywalker responded to any request for help, even if it meant trouble for himself.

The character easily learned the skill of lightsaber fighting. Luke Skywalker's sword, inherited from his father, had blue– the shade was associated with the Jedi Guardians. Having lost his weapon along with his hand, Luke assembled a new sword, only with a green blade. Typically, such swords belonged to scientists, diplomats and orators.

Skywalker has a strong connection with the Force. Kenobi taught the young man the skill of controlling it and obtaining information about the world around him. Luke began to feel his father’s approach, independently revealed the secrets of telekinesis and began to take advantage of the opportunities that had opened up, and later learned the secrets of influencing the minds of enemies. With the help of the Force, he even did the incredible - he destroyed the Death Star.

Actors and roles

In the cinema, the image of a Jedi knight was brilliantly embodied. The same actor will delight viewers with his presence in the expected films of 2017 and 2019. Han Solo was played, and Leia Organa was played.

The character of Luke's teacher Obi-Wan Kenobi was conveyed by Alec Guinness. The doll, which acted as Master Yoda, was given the voice by Frank Oz, who also controlled the structure. The role of the main antagonist Darth Vader went to David Prowse.

  • In total, the Star Wars parts managed to collect $7.5 billion. Such a dizzying commercial success elevated the saga to third place in the list of the highest-grossing “multi-part” films in the history of cinema.
  • Star Wars might have been released under a different name. The film company 20th Century Fox did not like the title of the future film, and a competition was announced among members of the film crew. However, no one dared to go against the ideas of the screenwriter and director.

Actors of the Star Wars saga
  • The image of Luke Skywalker haunted the author. At first, George Lucas was going to create a Jedi girl. Then I thought that it would be nice to make the main character a gnome, and later the idea came to me to turn the character into an elderly general. The Jedi received his surname at the height of filming - in the script Luke was listed as Starkiller.
  • There is a funny episode connected with the filming of the space opera. The planet Tatooine, where Luke grew up, is named after the city of the same name in Tunisia. A large-scale film was shot in the same country. One day, a conflict on an international scale almost happened: the Libyan government was worried about the abundance of military equipment on the border and was even going to announce a general mobilization. The Tunisian authorities asked the filmmakers to move to the center of the state so as not to embarrass their neighbors.

Quotes

The cult saga is rich in life advice. Yoda especially distinguished himself - his phrases are filled with wisdom. But fans of the star saga also remembered quotes from other heroes for the rest of their lives.

“There will always be more fish.”
“Fear will lead to the dark side. Fear gives rise to anger; anger gives rise to hatred; hatred is the key to suffering."
“When you turn 900 years old, you won’t look young either.”
“Luck is chance backed by knowledge.”
“Your weakness is self-confidence.
“And your weakness is faith in friends.”
“The pieces of my life were scattered by the storm before I had a chance to put them back together. And every missing piece I find completely changes the picture.”

Jedi, son of Naboo Senator Padmé Amidala Naberrie and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. Older twin brother of Leia Organa Solo.

Born on April 11 at the Polis-Massa Medical Center on the day of the creation of the Galactic Empire. After the death of Luke's mother, he was sent to Tatooine to stay with Anakin's half-brother Owen Lars to hide him from Palpatine. On this planet, under the supervision of guardians and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke spent his childhood. But one day two droids fell into Luke's hands - C-3PO and R2-D2 - and the latter told him about his task - to find Obi-Wan Kenobi, whom Luke knew as a strange hermit living nearby. After listening to the message sent by the droids, Obi-Wan went to help his comrades and took Luke with him. Luke proved himself to be a capable student and was able to study with Yoda himself. Luke learned the terrible secret of his birth from his father Darth Vader. With the humility and calm that defines a true Jedi, Luke accepted his fate and continued to fight. And finally, Skywalker walked unarmed into a trap prepared by the Emperor himself in order to lure him to the Dark Side. During a battle with his father, Luke tried to influence him to return him to the light side of the Force. After Darth Vader was defeated, Luke Skywalker did not kill him and continued to convince him to return back to the light, despite the fact that at this time the emperor tortured him with lightning, as a result, Darth Vader realized that his son was right and threw the emperor into the Death Star shaft , after which he himself died.

Luke's further fate is described in the Star Wars comics. After numerous adventures detailed in the comics (for example: becoming a Master, teacher, Grand Master; studying the force; determining the nature of the dark and light sides; restoring democracy to the galaxy; founding a new Jedi Order), Luke merges with the force, which would continue mentor future generations. After Disney acquired the rights to the Star Wars franchise, all the events of the main canon after Episode VI were rewritten, and what was previously called the Extended Universe and had varying degrees of recognition from Lucasfilm was collectively called "Legends." .

In the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it becomes known that Luke actually trained the Jedi at the revived academy, but after his nephew Ben Solo, being one of his students, goes over to the Dark Side and destroys the rest of the academy, Luke goes to exile to a distant planet. At the end of the film, Luke was found by the Force-sensitive scavenger Rey using abandoned coordinates found by R2-D2.

In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Luke Skywalker will begin training Rey in the arts of the Light Side of the Force and will fight the forces of Supreme Leader Snoke and his student Kylo Ren, leader of the Knights of Ren. It has already become known that in this film, Kylo Ren (former student of Luke Skywalker) will change his character to a tougher one.

In the ninth film, he will again become one of the main characters and learn how to lure the Dark Jedi and switch to the Light Side of the Force.

In this article you will learn:

Luke Skywalker- Jedi Master and Grand Master of the New Jedi Order. Main character Star Wars universe. Luke's story consists of Canons (the original story from the films) and Legends (the story from books written before 2014). In this article you can read about both some and others.

Mark Hamill as Luke

Revenge of the Sith

The first time we see Luke is in the movie “Revenge of the Sith,” where he was just born. His role is insignificant and is played by some little dude.

So, Luke was born at the Polis Massa Medical Center, a little earlier than his twin sister Leia in 19 BBY, in the year of the formation of the Empire and the extermination of the Jedi. His mother was a senator, and his father was a fallen knight.

Luke's mother died after giving birth and in order to hide the children from the Empire, the Jedi decided to separate them. Leia became the adopted daughter of Senator Bail Organa, and Luke ended up on Tatooine, with his uncle Owen Lars and his wife.

Obi-Wan personally delivered the child to the Lars, after which he settled on Tatooine, taking care of the little boy.

From early childhood, Luke began to demonstrate his Force abilities. His uncle Owen was against it, so he often scolded the boy.

Youth

At the age of twelve, Luke dreamed of going to the distant stars, but his uncle tried to make him forget about his dreams. He told the boy about the Clone Wars, lying that his father was just a cargo pilot. Despite this, Skywalker continued to seek adventure, developing his skills in piloting and repairing various devices that he inherited from his father.

In his youth, Luke had the nickname “Worm.” The boy had few friends, with some of them he dreamed of entering the Imperial Academy to become a pilot. Best friend Luke was Biggs Darklighter, who left him in 1 BBY to follow his dream.

To all his uncle’s persuasion to let him go, Luke received the strictest refusal.

New hope

The second time we meet the adult Luke is in the 1977 film “A New Hope.” In this and subsequent parts, he is played by Mark Hamill. From this moment on, the canonical story of the hero of the universe begins again.

Skywalker's adventures began when his uncle bought two droids and R2-D2. In one of them, Luke discovered a message addressed to Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Going in search of the hermit Ben, the young man learned another story of his father, who, according to Kenobi, was a Jedi killed.

Returning home, Luke found his uncle and aunt killed. Skywalker had no choice but to follow Ben and the droids to Alderaan in order to deliver the R2 droid, which contained the plans for the Death Star, to the rebels.

To get out of Imperial-occupied Tatooine, Luke and Ben hired the brave captain of the Millennium Falcon and his assistant. To pay off Khan, Luke sold his flyer.

On the ship, Ben gave Luke his first lessons in strength, which were difficult for him.

Arriving in the Alderaan system, the team found the planet destroyed. Trying to escape the fighters, the Falcon was pulled by the Death Star. The team successfully escaped from their enemies, and when they found out that Princess Leia was on the ship, they decided to save her. Luke, in the company of Han and Chewbacca, went to save the princess while Ben abandoned them.

Having freed Leia, the friends were able to escape from the Death Star only thanks to Kenobi, who sacrificed himself by merging with the Force in a short battle with Vader. Luke was saddened by the loss of his teacher.

Battle of Yavin

Traveling to the Rebel base on Yavin with Leia, Luke was immediately drawn into the war with the Empire. He invited Khan to stay with the rebels and help them in the battle against the Empire, but he refused.

Luke became a pilot with the call sign Red-5 and the final battle against the Death Star, with the help of Han Solo and the Force, who came to the rescue, destroyed the Empire's superweapon.

Palpatine: « I sense a great disturbance in the Force.»

Darth Vader: « I feel it too.»

Palpatine: « We have a new enemy: a young rebel who destroyed the Death Star. I have no doubt that the boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker.»

Having destroyed the Death Star, young Luke became a hero of the Alliance, along with his friends Han and Chewbacca.

Luke and Leia

Fight against the Empire

Skywalker continued the fight against the Empire, helping the Alliance. He participated in many battles, was promoted to lieutenant commander and led several missions. Among fighters in space, Luke felt at home, so he often flew missions with the Red and Rogue squadrons. He also took part in battles on earth, witnessing all the horrors of war.

In one of the ground battles, Luke met an old friend, Sunber, who was an imperial officer.

First fight with Vader

The hero's first meeting with Darth Vader took place in 2 ABY on the planet Mimban. Then, in the battle, Skywalker won, cutting off the Sith's mechanical arm. This victory was achieved only thanks to the spirit of Kenobi and the Kaiburr crystal, which gave Luke strength.

The Empire Strikes Back

Vision of Skywalker

In 3 ABY, the hero arrived with Rogue Squadron on Hoth, where the Alliance base was located. During one of the reconnaissance missions, Skywalker disappeared in the endless snow of the planet. He was dying when he saw the spirit of Kenobi advising the young man to become Yoda's disciple, on Dagobah. Luke could have died, but his faithful friend Han Solo came to the rescue.

During the battle for the planet, the Alliance was defeated, leaving their base on Hoth. Luke left his friends on Ben's advice, he went to Dagobah, where he found Yoda and became his student.

Since Luke was already old, learning the Jedi art was difficult for him, but his potential was enormous.

One day, Yoda sent the hero into a cave where the Dark Side of the Force languished. Luke saw himself there in Vader's armor. In the cave, Skywalker saw Solo and Organa captured in Cloud City. Without completing his studies, he decided to go to save his friends.

Yoda and Luke

Losing a hand and the terrible truth

Luke arrived in Cloud City late. Khan was placed in carbonite and handed over, and everyone else became hostages to the Empire. Sensing Vader in the Force, Skywalker found him and fought him. This time, without outside help, Luke was expected to fail. The Dark Lord cut off the hero's right hand and tried to persuade him to the Dark Side, revealing the terrible secret that he was his real father.

Darth Vader: « Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father?»

Luke Skywalker: « Quite enough! He said you killed him!»

Darth Vader: « No. I am your father!»

Having learned the truth, Luke rushed into the mine, refusing the Sith. He got caught on the antenna of the flying city and was soon picked up by Leia on the Falcon, who contacted him through the Force. The Falcon team lost Solo, but gained a new legendary pilot, Lando Calrissian.

Like his father earlier, Luke lost his right arm, which was replaced by a cybernetic prosthesis.

Superweapon “Tarkin”

A new mission for Luke and his crew on the Falcon was the destruction of the Tarkin superweapon. Vader, who was on the station, expected the arrival of the Jedi and wanted to capture him, but the attempt on his life spoiled the Dark Lord's plans. The Falcon successfully completed the mission, flying away from the station when Vader followed in his personal fighter. After the destruction of Tarkin, Vader was the only one who survived. To remove the Sieve from the tail, Luke poured coolant into space, which turned into an ice wall and Vader fell into it.

Shira Bree

After becoming commander of Rogue Squadron, Luke fell in love with a pilot named Shira Bree. But in one of the battles he accidentally shot her down, for which he was removed from his post as commander. Having taken up the investigation of this case in order to be reinstated in his position, the hero learned that Shira was an agent of the empire. (The girl survived, becoming half a cyborg known as Lady Lumiya).

To make himself a sword, Luke went to Tatooine to Kenobi's old hut, where he assembled a sword with a green blade.

Return of the Jedi

In 4 ABY, Skywalker learned that Han Solo was on Tatooine with Jabba. Luke arrived at the Hutt's palace when half of his team had already been captured: Leia, Chewbacca and two droids. To free his friends, the hero had to fight a terrible rancor. The hero almost died in the jaws of the Sarlacc, yet showed everyone his Jedi abilities.

Saving Leia

After saving his friends, Luke returned to Yoda to complete his training, but found the old master dying. Dying, Yoda declared Skywalker a Jedi Knight and told the secret of whose twin sister was Leia Organa.

Returning to the Rebels, Luke went on a mission to Endor to disable the field generator protecting the second Death Star, which the Empire was building in orbit of the planet.

Sensing Vader's presence, Luke himself surrendered to the Imperials, after which he came face to face with himself. They tried to seduce Skywalker into the dark side of the Force, but the young Jedi held on, trying to bring his father back to the light. Vader, reading his son's thoughts, began to threaten the conversion of his sister Leia, after which Luke showed the preconditions for the dark side by starting the battle and cutting off Vader's hand. Skywalker stopped the battle when he saw his father's right mechanical arm similar to his own (the vision on Dagobah when Luke saw himself in Vader's armor). The Emperor ordered Vader to be killed, but Luke refused.

Palpatine used Force lightning to kill the Jedi, but Vader could not watch his son die. Returning to the light, Anakin Skywalker sacrificed himself and threw the Emperor into the Death Star reactor.

Luke fulfilled his dying father's wish to remove his mask, looking at the first and last time on his burned face. Anakin merged with the Force, and Luke took his body, which he cremated on Endor after the Alliance's victory.

The Force Awakens

As you already know, Dinei canceled the entire written history of Star Wars and continued making “similar” films. So, Luke Skywalker appeared in the 7th film, “The Force Awakens”.

After the overthrow of the Emperor, Luke reportedly began rebuilding the Jedi Temple and recruiting Padawans. One of his students was Ben Solo, the son of Leia Organa and Han Solo.

For many years, he taught his students the art of the Jedi, until Ben, captivated by the story of his grandfather Darth Vader, decided that this path was better for him. He became a member of the Dark Knights of Ren, taking the name and joining the First Order, the remnants of the Empire, killing all of Luke's Padawans.

Skywalker was disappointed by such an oversight that he decided to go into exile.

For many years, Luke was confined to the first Jedi temple on an island on a distant planet until the Millennium Falcon arrived on the island, carrying a young Force-sensitive girl who returned Luke his sword, lost on Bespin.

After the war

The legends begin after part 6 of the film “Return of the Jedi”, before the purchase of the studio by Disney.

After the Emperor's death, Luke continued to cleanse the universe of the remnants of the Empire. His first student was Kiro, an Iskalonian whom he met on the planet Iskalon.

Meeting Mara Jade

The Empire had no intention of giving up its positions, so the war with the remnants continued even after Palpatine's death.

A new problem was Admiral Thrawn, who tried many times to capture the Jedi and often succeeded. So, running away from Thrawn, Luke met smuggler Talon Karrde and his assistant. Luke did not know that Mara was the Emperor's right hand and wanted to kill the Jedi. Despite her strong desire to take down Skywalker, Jade had to work side by side with Luke.

The crisis in the galaxy forces Luke and Mara to undertake many missions together. Little by little they began to develop friendly relations. Skywalker saved the girl from death more than once and even taught her the Force.

Return of Palpatine

In 10 ABY, Luke arrived on Coruscant while it was under attack by Imperial forces. While fighting on the surface, Luke ended up in a ship transporting Jedi prisoners, which transported him to the planet Byss, where Skywalker was surprised to see Emperor Palpatine alive. Palpatine's spirit survived and was infused into the copy's body.

Feeling the Emperor's limitless power, Luke agreed to become his servant. With no chance of victory, Skywalker was going to destroy evil from within. Luke neglected the main instruction of Master Yoda - he underestimated the power of the dark side.

Leia did not allow Luke to completely go over to the dark side. Having learned some of the secrets of the dark side, Skywalker fought Palpatine and won.

New Order

The Republic needed the Jedi Order and Luke became the founder of the Praxeum on Yavin, beginning to accept small Yurlings for training.

Among the talented students, Luke singled out Kip Durron, who had enormous potential. However, Kip was soon influenced by the spirit of Exar Kun and turned to the dark side by attacking Skywalker. In this battle, Luke's spirit was separated from his body, plunging the Jedi into a comatose state. Only after Kun was destroyed was Luke able to come to his senses.

Returning to the light, Kip was given into the hands of Skywalker, who was supposed to judge him for the destruction of Carida, but Luke left the young man alive. Durron subsequently became a prominent Jedi of the New Order.

Wedding

Skywalker had many affairs, but not one of them made it to marriage. It seemed that Luke was destined to be alone all his life, but a new joint mission with Mara Jade brought the Jedi and the former imperial agent closer than ever. Skywalker proposed marriage to Jade, to which she agreed. Ten years after their first meeting, the couple got married in the capital of the Republic.

War with the Yuuzhan Vong (Legend)

In 25 ABY, the Galaxy was mired in a brutal war with the previously unknown race of the Yuuzhan Vong. The Jedi were the first to take this blow... and lose.

At the very beginning of the war, a friend of the Luke and Han families, Chewbacca, died.

Birth of a son

Another problem for Luke was the illness of his wife, infected with an unknown virus. Despite the illness, Mara still gave birth to Skywalker's son, who was named after Obi Wan Kenobi.

Dark times

The Jedi once again became a central figure when the Yuuzhan Vong demanded their surrender in exchange for peace. Many simply turned away from the defenders, wanting to send them to their deaths. So, the Senate issued an arrest warrant for Skywalker and his wife. However, Kyp Durron tricked the Republic fleet by destroying the Yuuzhan Vong worldship, ending the truce.

The Yuuzhan Vong understood that they could control the Galaxy only after destroying the Jedi, so they created voxins - predators designed to kill Jedi. To destroy the voxins, 17 young Jedi went into battle. In this struggle, Luke's nephew, Anakin Solo, died.

Although the voxins were destroyed, the Yuuzhan Vong captured the capital of Coruscant.

Victory

The Republic was soon transformed into the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. Luke and his son went on a journey to the Unknown Regions, in which they had to find a solution to the conflict with a hostile race. So, Skywalker and Ben found the intelligent planet Zonama Sekot, which they persuaded to help in the war.

Zonama Sekot made a direct jump to the Coruscant system, where it caused confusion and chaos among the Yuuzhan Vong warriors and priests, and raised the heretics to revolt.

In 29 ABY, the final Battle of Coruscant took place, which the Jedi won by convincing the Yuuzhan Vong to surrender.

After the victory, Luke gathered the surviving Jedi and set them on the path of service to the Force.

After leaving Zonama Sekot, Luke heard the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi for the last time.

The war was over. Luke founded the Academy on Ossus, and a few years later he accepted his son Ben into it for training, whose teacher was Jacen Solo.

New War (Legend)

By 40, the Galactic Alliance began to resemble the Empire, forcing the Jedi to work for them. To show their power, the Alliance started a war with Corellia. This war divided the Skywalker and Solo families, who found themselves on opposite sides of the barricades.

At this time, Jacen Solo, lured by Lady Lumiya, fell to the dark side. Luke felt this in power, although he did not yet know that it was his nephew. Skywalker suspected that the man in his vision was Jacen and was worried about his son, who was still his apprentice, but Mara convinced her husband that Solo was the most best teacher. To make sure that there was no dark side in Ben, Luke fought a duel with him.

Luke and Mara began to better monitor their son, whom Lumiya had designs on. They began to suspect Jacen more and more, wanting to separate him from Ben. But he could deftly explain every trap that his nephew set for the Skywalkers.

Luke and Mara wanted to find Lumiya and destroy her. Luke fought her in more than one fight, but she always escaped.

Death of Mary

Soon, Mara learned that Jacen gave Ben a task - to kill the head of the Corellian rebels, which he completed. For this, Jade wanted to kill Solo. She met him in a duel, in which she was killed with a poisoned dart. After her death, Jacen proclaimed himself Darth Caedus.

Luke was distraught with grief. He believed that his wife was killed by Lumiya, whom he soon found and executed.

Mara was buried on Coruscant, where her killer was also present, fearing to be discovered. As Jacen stood next to Luke, Mara's body merged with the Force. Skywalker took this sign incorrectly, deciding that he had to make peace with Solo.

Peace reigns

In the end, when another crisis began to brew in the Galaxy involving the new Lord of the Sith. Jacen Solo revealed his true identity - Darth Caedus.

Luke once again embarked on a mission to free the world from a tyrant. But defeating Caedus was destined for Jaina Solo, the sister of the Sith Lord. The Galactic Alliance of the new tyrant was defeated. Peace reigned in the Galaxy again.

Skywalker was not immortal. In old age, the Grand Jedi Master merged with the Force, leaving his mortal body.

So, everything goes according to canon until the sixth episode. But after Luke burned Vader's body, Skywalker accidentally overheard what was being said at the meeting of the Alliance heads, to which for some reason he was not invited. And he learned this: Firstly, it turns out that the Skywalkers were very well known to the Jedi long before Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan found Anakin on Tatooine. Why? Because, although not often in the Skywalker family, there were still Gifted Ones. And these gifted ones were always monstrously strong and talented, each subsequent Gifted One of this kind was an order of magnitude stronger than the previous one, and also representatives of this family invariably became Siths, so the Skywalkers are sort of like hereditary Siths. Secondly, Shmi Skywalker had two twin children - a boy and a girl, that is, Anakin and OZP (Name of your choice). While the boy lived with his mother, the girl lived with her father. Whether OZhP knew about the existence of her brother or not is not important. But Anakin knew nothing about his sister, because Shmi decided not to traumatize her son’s soul with the news of the existence of a sister whom he would never see anyway, and took this secret to the grave. OZhP is not gifted. The Jedi thought that the Skywalkers were completely extinct, but Anakin proved the opposite (by the mere fact that he bears this surname and there were even more midi-chlorians in his blood than Yoda, who had previously held the record for the content of midi-chlorians in the blood). So, the Jedi decided to try their luck and raise a real Jedi from a descendant of the Skywalkers. The result is known to us all - Anakin Skywalker began to bear the name Darth Vader and, accordingly, without knowing it, he followed in the footsteps of his ancestors. Padmé died BEFORE giving birth and, accordingly, her children and Anakin's children also died before they were even born. And then Obi-Wan and Yoda so successfully found little Luke, who was born Gifted, and OZP (Anakin’s sister). The Last Jedi were liquidated, and Luke was sent to Tatooine, to the Lars, and married off to the son of Padme and Anakin. Leia Organa is the natural daughter of Bail Organa and his wife, for example (but not the daughter of Padmé! She and Organa did not have sexual relations, because Amidala was completely faithful to Skywalker). In short, the Jedi came up with a plan in which Vader's nephew (Luke), married to his son, would kill the Sith. The grown-up Leia agreed to play the role of Luke's sister and Vader's daughter in order to destroy the Sith and the Empire. Leia, by the way, was also born Gifted, which is why she was offered to participate in the plan. Luke overheard all this and found out the truth. The entire command staff of the Alliance was present at the council (Madina, there... Mon Mothma, Akbar, Leia, Khan and some others). In general, they were there deciding what to do with Luke himself, who was no longer needed. Kill him or put him in prison, or do something else? But you can’t leave him alone and you can’t make him a full-fledged Jedi either. Otherwise, who knows, the Skywalker genes will take over in him? Like, we know, we went through it, nothing worked with Anakin, and that means it won’t work with Luke either. They decided to kill, and Leia had to restore the Jedi Order; moreover, she was trained for this from a very early age by Yoda and Obi-Wan (she’s not a Skywalker, so that means it’s possible. She supposedly won’t become a Sith). Luke has had enough of everything he has heard and he quickly runs away, just so as not to see these bastards. And he ended up on the planet Korriban. On it, Luke, not only did not die, but also found teachers for himself from the spirits of the Sith Lords, among whom, by the way, there were five to ten former Skywalkers. In general, in seven to ten years they managed to turn Luke into a real Dark Lord of the Sith and gave him the name Darth (make up your own mind). What Luke will do next is up to you (But don’t forget that the last Skywalker was made into a real Sith and now he is in no way inferior in cruelty to his uncle, Darth Vader. And also don’t forget what I wrote about the Skywalker Power Each next Skywalker is an order of magnitude stronger than the previous one!). Luke will take revenge on everyone who used him (That is, the entire top of the Alliance, who by this moment had quickly revived the Republic and began to do good and bring justice!). There must be a war. No, not like that, there must be WAR! Republic versus Darth (whatever you call Luke). Where Skywalker will take troops and equipment is on your conscience, even if he raises the same Clone Army. Whether Luke will seize power and re-create his Empire or limit himself to revenge is up to you. But still, I would like him to restore the Empire and become the Emperor himself.
Huh! Finally expressed my thoughts on this idea! I hope there is a benefactor who can competently and interestingly implement this idea. And also, preferably without Slash, this genre is far from being held in high esteem by me. But if it’s absolutely impossible to live without him, then fine, I’ll survive somehow, the main thing is that he doesn’t interfere with everything else.
