Article for the school newspaper about a reading competition. Dhow Reading Competition

On October 28, the third village-wide reading competition dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia “A happy person lives among fields, forests and rivers” was held at the Koelgi Children's Art School.

More than 40 contestants took part in the competition: the youngest performer was two years old, the most experienced was 75 years old.

Poems and prose were read, and there were solo and ensemble performances. The choice of works was left to the participants and their mentors independently.

The performances of the younger age group (preschoolers) began. The children performed actively and expressively read poems they had learned by heart. Despite the large number of participants, the choice of works was successful: they included poems by Russian classical poets and contemporary authors writing for children. The most outstanding performances and awards from the jury were: Liza Tomashevskaya, Oleg Shaidulin, Dima Grishakin, Albina Monakova.

The audience was pleased with the collective performance of the children with their mentor Natalya Vladimirovna Konkina. They received the People's Choice Award.

Among the speakers of older age categories, not only poetry, but also prose was heard. The quality of performance was good, there was artistry in the reading, it was felt that the readers were experiencing together with the authors of the works. They are trying to convey to the audience the full depth of the poem. The choice of authors was very diverse: from classic poets: A.S. Pushkin, I. Krylov, to contemporaries: V. Orlov, A. Yashin.

Our fellow countrywoman, Olga Petrovna Smolina, read poems of her own composition: “Prosper, my village,” “The neighbor cut down the rowan tree.”

The jury noted the winners of the older age categories: Yana German, Slava Shabunina, Anna Prikhodkina, Kirill Skorobogatov, Maxim Kuzyakin, Valya Strizheva, Lena Voronina, Marina Svyazhenina, Alisa Kadurina, Natalya German, Lyubov Mikryukova, O.P. Smolina.

The Grand Prix, according to the unanimous opinion of the jury, was won by Yana Melnikova.

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the sponsor of our competition, Director of the IMPERIAL circus Mikhail Aleksandrovich Gusakov, thanks to him we were able to purchase wonderful prizes for the competition laureates.

We also express our gratitude to the competent and impartial, friendly jury, which included:

Chairman of the Council of Veterans of JSC "Koelgamramor" - Tatyana Alekseevna Partyka,

teacher of Russian language and literature - Polina Nikolaevna Lyamzina,

teacher of Russian language and literature - Elena Nikolaevna Devyatkova.

Of course, there were no losers in this competition! Everyone wins, including parents and mentors. After all, all these emotions and images of nature defenders will remain small pieces of goodness in children's souls.

ARTICLE ABOUT THE COMPETITION “BOKOVSKY READINGS – 2011”

“TO MEET WITH THE POET VIKTOR BOBOKY FOR SPIRITUAL SUPPORT”

Today, in our very difficult times, everyone needs a good interlocutor and reliable spiritual support, and therefore many residents of the Sergievo Posad district again took part in the Poetry Festival dedicated to the People's Poet of Russia - Victor Bokov.

The poetry competition was held for the fourth time and each time it increasingly covers the settlements of the region - new names appear among the participants. Participants in the Competition this year were: school students, pupils of children's art centers, youth centers, technical school students, library readers from the settlements of the region. Many schools and studios are annual participants in the poetry competition, and for this we thank their mentors, who believe that children should be brought up by introducing them to high poetry. And some schools applied for this competition for the first time.

Total submitted to the Competition 72 applications.

In the Reading Competition it was said 54 poems by V. Bokov.

Age limits of participants from 6 years to 88 years.

The first to speak were the readers who read the poems of V. Bokov. The younger ones started, and this was the largest group. The kids read very emotionally and so reverently that the smallest participant Dubov Dmitry I couldn’t hold back my own tears when reading about the monument to the unknown soldier. This greatly touched both the audience and the jury. The older group presented their skills in expressive reading for the younger ones.

Then the audience listened Author's Competition, also represented by two age groups. It featured original poets who are marked by talent and given the gift of creativity. Viktor Bokov was always reverent about the creativity of young people, singled them out from a large number of people and then helped them and supported them in every possible way. The goal of our competition is also to identify and support original poets. This is the only way we will continue the traditions of the poet Viktor Bokov.

Of course, everyone was amazed by the performance of a WWII veteran from the city of Krasnozavodsk 88 year oldChernov Vladimir Alistarovich. Basically, his poems sounded the theme of Victory in the battles of the Great Patriotic War. And everyone sincerely and kindly admired both the memory and gallant bearing of the veteran. Long life to him, Defender of the Fatherland, participant of the Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow. The program included demonstration performances by winners of previous reading competitions. They showed how to masterfully read poetry. For the one who takes prizes in such Competitions can be called a Master artistic reading. These readers confirmed their skills by performing on Moscow stages more than once. They were applauded by the Tchaikovsky Hall, the hall of the Central House of Writers, and the hall of the Central House of Artists. Honor and praise to them and their mentor N.A. Neverova, a true admirer of the talent of Viktor Bokov.

The event organizers were pleased to hear feedback about the competition itself and the impressions it left. “It’s like we’ve been on another planet”, - expressed the general opinion jury member, writer Ananichev A.S. Indeed, the immersion in the world of poetry was so complete that everyone forgot about their affairs and problems that they had left behind the walls of the school. I was amazed by the participation of the boys; every year there are more and more of them in the reading competition and how seriously they took their performances.

The staff of the Victor Bokov Museum again noted and thanked everyone who helps the museum in organizing and conducting such events. School No. 17 ( director Petrova Vera Sergeevna) always opens its doors cordially. Bogorodskaya Library (Tikhonova Marina Sergeevna) kindly provides his premises for the work of the jury and actively helps in decorating the hall. DC "Zvezdny" always provides assistance in technical and sound support for events and in filling pauses with concert numbers. Cooperation with travel company "Cruise SV" (director Sazonova Svetlana Gennadievna), which for the second time awards the winners of the Competition with personalized certificates for attending performances in Moscow theaters.

Again and again, we are amazed by parents and teachers who are active and consistent in the common cause of educating their children through exposure to true art, which is the high poetics of our fellow countryman, the people's poet of Russia Viktor Bokov. Another meeting with whom truly serves as spiritual support in our difficult times.

Thank you everyone and low bow!

More than four hundred participants from eleven preschool and eighteen general education institutions - the IV city reading competition was held in such a reputable community.

“Reading the Classics” is the name of this intellectual and creative competition. And I must say, the participants stuck to the topic. Another thing is that, as some members of the jury felt, a number of works were not chosen according to the age of the readers, and, despite good performance, the points for some were reduced.

The final, third, stage of the competition took place in the reading room of the central city library named after. N.K. Krupskaya. More than sixty contestants took part in it. The competitors were divided into four groups: preschoolers, primary schoolchildren, middle school and high school students.

The two most touching were junior groups- sincere, spontaneous, diligent. The poem by Konstantin Simonov was difficult for six-year-old Dashenka Silaeva from gymnasium No. 2 in the village of Zavodskoy. She read very well, chose the right tonality, and felt the mood of the work. And the help of adults in developing recitation skills was also felt. Four-year-old Diana Ten read “Lyubochka” by Agnia Barto with ease and humor; asked with high feeling: “Where does the Motherland begin?” six-year-old Artyom Ishchenko. Each child, entering the impromptu stage, gave his all. And this aroused respect for the little readers.

Among the contestants from 7 to 11 years old, the brightest was Nikon Dyagel, a fifth-grader from school No. 7. He chose serious historical work Alexander Pushkin "Borodin Anniversary". Nikon skillfully paused, was artistic and, in the end, left no one indifferent. First-grader Yulia Barkova amused everyone with her reading of the poem “The Lady Checked in Luggage,” and fourth-grader Darina Fomenko read “An Oak Leaf” by Mikhail Lermontov with musical accompaniment. It must be said that several more readers enjoyed melodic recitation, and not without success.

If you set yourself the goal of assessing each of the participants in the final, you can “drown” in epithets, even superlatives. And yet, how can one not pay tribute to Alexei Volkonitin (school no. 11), who read the poem “Ugly Girl” with feeling. And although some members of the jury felt that this work was not for a fifth-grader, the young reader made it clear to the audience that the meaning was extremely clear to him. And how deeply the patriotic, heroic theme sounded in the mouth of Ksenia Arnaut, who read Mikhail Lermontov’s poem “The Fugitive”! The reaction of the listeners could be summed up succinctly: “goosebumps.”

Poems about childhood, about nature, about the Motherland, about heroism, about love - these are already for high school students. And, I must say, the older the readers were, the more consciously they approached the presentation of the work. Having chosen a rather “adult” poem by Sergei Yesenin “Letter to a Woman,” Anton Shevyakov from school 19 asked for advice from the teacher, who helped him parse it and understand the meaning. And here one cannot but agree with the classic: “All ages are submissive to love.” True, I would like “all ages” to see the romantic side of high feelings first - this is precisely the merit of the teacher.

The results of the third round of the “Reading the Classics” competition are as follows: 32 laureates and nominees. The highest scores are from 200 to 202. The jury has not announced the winners yet: let there be an intrigue that will be revealed on April 7 at a gala concert in the hall of Children's Art School No. 2 (former Ekran cinema). The concert starts at 15.00.

Chairman of the jury, member of the Union theatrical figures RF Alexander Lavrishchev noted the main thing: “Many children like poetry and read it with pleasure. Another thing is that the competition showed: teachers are not always concerned with conveying the meaning of the work to students, and this affects the reading of poems by both children and high school students.” For the poetess, member of the “Literary Lounge” Lyudmila Povalikhina, who was also on the jury, the main thing was the children’s interest in poetry, which increases with each competition: “Thanks to the teachers, thanks to the children, this is not the first time many have participated in a poetry competition: you can feel creative, emotional growth.” . The director of the centralized library system of the AGO, Galina Asadcheva, also spoke about the fact that the city reading competition has become an important and attractive event over the years: “Every year we have more and more contestants; good works, children grow in their skills. It’s good that young men are taking part in the competition, and there are quite a few of them.”

The gala concert promises to be an interesting spectacle. Both the winners and the guys who did not make it to the finals will take part in it. This is what the organizers of this creative competition decided, motivating the decision by the fact that the works chosen by the readers were diverse both in genre and in content. And the contestants read it with a feeling that they also captivated and aroused respect for the young artists.

Organization and holding of a reading competition in preparatory group

Prepared by the teacher

Shabalina Nina Aleksandrovna

Speech development is one of the main directions in preschool education child. In the Federal State Standards it is presented in the following educational fields, How speech development and artistic-aesthetic, which involves familiarity and perception of fiction in its various genres. One of these genres is poetry, which helps a child create vivid, imaginative ideas about the world around him, develops the ability to feel the melody and beauty of his native language, and enriches his vocabulary. Properly selected and expressively read poetic works arouse interest and emotional response in children. But, unfortunately, when a child is given the task of memorizing a poem at home, parents often reduce the meaning of memorization to automatic reproduction of the text, justifying themselves by the fact that they themselves do not know how to recite poetry expressively. Such unemotional reproduction not only leaves the child himself indifferent to what he said, it is uninteresting and tiring for those who listen to him. An important problem is that in every group there are shy children, children who are afraid to speak in public, many suffer from sound pronunciation, and for fear that their peers will laugh at them, they refuse to recite poems at holidays, during time educational activities, purchasing a set of unnecessary complexes.

Therefore, we turned to this direction of work when familiarizing ourselves with fiction, such as organizing and holding reading competitions. “Regulations on competitions” were developed, topics and tasks were defined:

Stimulate the desire to memorize poems, develop communication skills, create a positive emotional mood;

Develop the ability to listen to poems that other children read;

We settled on themes about the seasons, about nature, something that is accessible and understandable to children. Poems about nature are a multifaceted concept, these are poems about animals, birds, trees, flowers, rain and snow, blizzards and sun, in a word, children were given a huge choice poetic works. The main thing is that they are interesting, accessible to understand the text, and evoke an emotional response in the child, as well as in the parents. By the end of the year, we decided to add poems by D. Kharms to maintain a positive emotional mood.

We held consultations with parents on how to choose the right poem for their child. Parents should read the poem in such a way that they like it and create a desire to repeat it; if the child does not pronounce some sounds, they should appear as little as possible in the text so as not to complicate the memorization process, not to cause negative emotions and reluctance to learn the text. The poem should be age-appropriate and should not be “faceless” so that a certain picture, image and understanding of what he is talking about can be created in the child’s imagination. Be sure to explain unclear words and expressions.

At first, we selected poems for children, taking into account their characters, capabilities, pronunciation features, and artistry. As parents gained experience, they began to participate in this process on their own. Since preschoolers have more developed visual perception, we selected a corresponding picture for each poem; many of them can now be found on the Internet, photographs, paintings by artists. They compared, composed descriptive stories, highlighted epithets and comparisons that were in the text of the poems, drawing the children’s attention to the richness and expressiveness of the Russian language. Subsequently, the children themselves were asked to choose the picture that, in their opinion, most suits the chosen poem. With children who had a particularly difficult time remembering the poem, they used the mnemonic method, when the child reproduces the text with the help of drawings. On our advice, this method was actively used by some parents, who were convinced from their own experience of its effectiveness.

Music is a wonderful way to cultivate a child’s artistic taste; it can influence mood and create certain emotions and atmosphere. To create a poetic atmosphere, we used classical works by composers P.I. Tchaikovsky. “The Seasons”, Beethoven, Vivaldi “The Seasons”, which convey in their music thunderclaps, the sound of rain, the rustling of leaves, bird trills, the howling of the wind, and the flow of water. Musical works about nature together with poetic and artistic creativity have a great influence on spiritual development preschool children, contribute to a more subtle perception of the surrounding nature and world. Children begin to understand that one can love and admire nature not only through poetry, but also through music and painting. We try to convey to them the idea that nature should be treated with care.

Our first viewers, of course, were our parents. Having become more confident, the children performed in front of the kindergarten staff and children from other groups.

As in any competition, a jury was selected, mainly from kindergarten employees, who assessed the little artists according to parameters such as artistry, expressiveness, and emotionality using a five-point system. Once we invited the parents themselves to evaluate the poetic creativity of their children, but the parent jury could not come to a consensus; some parents believed that friendship should win. Therefore, together with them, we abandoned such experiments. When holding competitions, it was very difficult to convince some parents that friendship no longer wins in the preparatory school group. A child, participating in a poetry competition, must prove himself, show his skill, ability, and diligence. All these qualities will be very useful in school life children, as well as when participating in competitions outside our preschool educational institution.

In order for children to be interested during poetry competitions, to maintain their attention and not get tired, not only poems, but also beautiful music should be heard, quizzes can be held in which not only children, but also parents, participate, dance numbers, outdoor games, riddles , i.e. use all techniques relevant to the theme of the competition. For example, during the competition “Poems of D. Kharms”, funny scenes, dance numbers were included.

After the competition, the jury determines the winners, and each child is required to receive a certificate, medal and sweet prizes. The jury emphasizes and notes that all the children were great, everyone tried.

Organized and conducted reading competitions showed positive results. Children who had never recited poetry, refused to perform, stopped being shy in public, became more relaxed, emotional, self-confident, and some became wonderful readers and took part in the municipal recitation competition, where they took a prize, and also performed at the House of Culture, in concert programs. The vocabulary expanded, the children learned to hear each other. It is also gratifying that parents saw these results and were convinced that the process of memorizing poems must be approached creatively and such concepts as expressiveness and emotionality must certainly be present when reciting poems by heart.

“All ages are submissive to love!” This well-known line may well become the motto of the first city reading competition, which was held on February 14 in the city House of Culture.

18 citizens, the youngest of whom attends kindergarten, and the oldest, already retired, read works of classical and modern Russian literature, poems of his own composition, dedicated, of course, to love. Why "of course"? But because the competition took place on Valentine's Day, the most tender and romantic holiday, which is becoming more and more popular every year.

— Literary reading is a creative embodiment literary work in a spoken word. It’s very pleasant that this type of art is gradually being revived these days,” says Irina Shmidt, deputy director and artistic director of the State House of Culture. — Among the tasks that we set for ourselves when holding this competition were the support and development of this genre, in addition, we wanted to identify the most talented and artistic readers among preschoolers and students. The competition gave everyone the opportunity to speak publicly, show their talents, and present their favorite poems.

Any competition involves some kind of competition, and competent people are needed to judge it. It was these people - knowledgeable and fair - who made up the jury. This is the director of the city library V.V. Chugaeva, the teacher of Russian language and literature of the Medynsky school L.V. Krylova, the actor of the Evgeny Vakhtangov Theater R.V. Dudich, the chairman of the jury - the director of the State House of Culture O.A. Skomorina.

“Our first competition was a breeze,” Irina Shmidt shares her impressions. — The immersion in the world of poetry was so complete that everyone forgot about their affairs and problems. I was amazed by the boys' participation in the reading competition and how seriously they took their performances.

Indeed, each participant “experienced” their favorite piece on stage. And choosing the best one was extremely difficult. When evaluating the contestants, the jury took into account the most important components of the art of artistic reading - intonational expressiveness of speech (dynamics, melody, tempo and rhythm, emotional coloring), correct literary pronunciation and use expressive means theater (facial expressions, gestures, movements, directing and acting).

As a result, the jury members unanimously decided that all the contestants deserved the award! Each participant was awarded a diploma and a souvenir. Well, the best were named: in the category “Young Reader” - Polina Emelyanova (kindergarten “Bee”); in the age group “7-12 years” - Ksenia Konstantinova (Radyukinsky school) and Ksenia Petrova (Peredelsky SDK); in the age group “13-18 years” - Ksenia Ovchinnikova (Medynskaya school). It is impossible not to note the very sensual reading of V. Mayakovsky’s poem “Flute” by Konstantin Rezunenko (Medyn School), he took first place in the “18 and older” category.

“I would like to thank all the participants, their mentors, for the real holiday that they gave to all the spectators with their talented performance,” said I. Schmidt, finishing the story about the competition. — Poetry is a wonderful phenomenon in itself. It is gratifying that an increasing number of children and youth are being drawn into the circle of its admirers and guardians. The competition gave poetry lovers the opportunity to communicate with viewers (listeners), and received feedback. And that's wonderful. The event was certainly a success. And we decided to hold another similar competition in the near future, this time dedicated to spring. It's called "Inspiration". So, see you soon!
